- Chronic coughIn Chronic Illness Club11 February 2024Hi, thank you! Midwest United States here. I've been to a leading regional medical center and its ENT, and during my first visit he did a laryngoscopy, and noted no irregularities, so I don't know. I ran the gamut with his suggestions, and have now been referred to pulmonology. Lidocaine nebulizer prescribed has been giving zero improvement. Waiting to schedule a CT scan and see if that gives any clues. I will definitely keep RRP in mind and bring it up next time I talk with the doctor.0

- Multiple ND conditions+?In Chronic Illness Club21 June 2024Hi! I have AuDHD, tics, Schizoaffective Disorder, bipolar type, and a lot of chronic pain problems. My life is exhausting to say the least. One thing I would recommend is researching the spoon theory and using that to track your energy and try to give yourself lots of rest. Another thing I do is make a list of the activities that are restful to me, like playing music or painting or writing, or even just laying on the floor listening to music, only put things that take very little energy to do. You can use those things to recuperate and rest, while still feeling productive or at least tricking your brain into thinking you're being productive, because I know it can be really hard to let yourself rest.00

- How to deal with people being rude at school. In Tourette's Discussion12 December 2023I'm sorry you have to deal with this! I dealt with this a lot when I was at school so I understand how difficult and isolating it can be. Unfortunately the only advice I can give is to ping your teachers an email explaining that you have tics to spread some awareness around it. I had some nice teachers that would look out for me so if someone was clearly bothering me, they would get the classes attention or say something unrelated to make it stop. But yeah just let your teachers know and go into as much detail as you feel comfortable :)00
