Hi this is odd coming from a male undiagnosed autistic but how dose being nurodivergent change or make periods more difficult if so tips that help you.
Hi so I'm autistic and I have tics I get periods and all the products can be a VERY big sensory issue I much prefer tampons because you can't feel them as much I also have pots so that can make it hard too if I'm having a hard day or in bed with bad anxiety
hi! so I'm autistic and I get periods and some reasons that periods can be more difficult for autistic people are because wearing pads, tampons, or other period products can be a big sensory issue for a lot of autistic people including myself. another reason is because when you have a period depending on the person you can bleed a LOT sometimes and that can be annoying because you have to wake up in the middle of the night or stop doing something like a special interest to change you period product, and that can mess up their routine or upset people. those are some reasons why autistic people struggle more with periods that nerotypical people. I wrote this comment talking about autism because I have it but neurodiverdent stands for many mental illness including touretts, ADHD, OCD, bipolar, down syndrome, and more. but all of these make periods very difficult to handle. I hope this helps you understand it more and have a great day.🐸
